Function description

As a Warehouse Manager you lead and direct all warehouse operations including inbound, warehousing, pick & pack, dispatch ready for transportation and inventory management. You attend all company responsibilities in field such as health & safety, drug safety, operating regulations for drug wholesale traders in conjunction with medicines act as well as operating regulations for drugs.

You work closely with the Site Manager and assist to develop operational goals and objectives. In addition you work closely with the commercial and sales team for the sales process, client implementations and client management efforts for the logistics center. You also participate in customer meetings and manage the conversion of new clients at the warehouse to ensure successful implementation of new business.

Furthermore, you are responsible for recruiting, training, leading and developing teammates within operations. You will report to the Site Manager Netherlands.

Function requirements

  • You have the ability to work and act on bachelor level;
  • You have at least 5 years of management/supervising experience in a logistics, supply chain, distribution or equivalent environment;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills;
  • Basic financial analysis skills;
  • You have experience with ERP/WMS and other business supporting tools;
  • Strong pc skills with a good understanding of Excel, Word and Access;
  • Experience with (pharma) logistics services in a healthcare environment would be a plus;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluent in English. Another languages would be a plus;
  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels of teammates.
